Hands-on review: ZVEX Effects Fuzz Probe

Watched the Esteban infomercial at least 3 times before I actually ordered it. Called in on the last 2 minutes and was on hold as Esteban went off the air. I paid $199.

After reading lots of Internet reviews of his $89 guitar, I was nervous that I had really thrown away my $199. But, I am totally pleased with this guitar, the case, and the amp. By no means do I expect that it compares to a Martin, but for the price I am 100% pleased. It has rekindled my lust to learn to play the guitar.

Haven't found anything yet. One problem noted with many owners of the cheaper American Legacy, mine has stayed in tune and I don't have black ink on my fingers from the paint.

The only thing I think I'd do is upgrade to a better set of strings.

The package deal is great. The amp and equilizer worked the first time I plugged them in. I have nothing bad to say about it. Hey, it even came with a bottle of polish.
